PitLog

PitLog is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) for serious backyard and competition BBQ cooks who want consistency. Instead of generic recipes, it focuses on logging real cooks: meat weight, trim notes, rub ratios, pit type, fuel, vent settings, ambient conditions, probe temps, wrap timing, spritz frequency, and rest method. After the cook, you rate tenderness, bark, smoke, and overall result, attach photos, and save what you’d repeat. The app then surfaces “best match” past cooks for today’s conditions and your equipment, and suggests small adjustments (e.g., start earlier due to wind/temp, tweak wrap time). This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional structured logging plus AI that summarizes patterns and generates a one-page cook plan from your own history. It’s not a thermometer controller; it’s a repeatability system.
