PlainPulse

PlainPulse is a web app (with optional mobile-friendly view) for public health teams to rapidly produce, test, and publish clear, accessible health messages across SMS, social posts, flyers, and web banners. It combines traditional workflow tools with AI: you paste a draft advisory, and it generates multiple reading-level versions, translations, and channel-specific formats while preserving required facts and disclaimers. It also runs a “clarity check” (jargon, ambiguity, numeracy, actionability) and a lightweight comprehension test you can send to a small panel of community reviewers or staff. The app keeps an audit trail of what changed, who approved it, and which sources were used—useful for compliance and post-incident review. Realistically, it won’t replace comms experts; it reduces turnaround time and prevents avoidable confusion during fast-moving events.
