PlanDiff

PlanDiff is a web app (with optional Jira/Confluence plugins) that helps QA leads generate, review, and maintain test plans that don’t rot the moment requirements change. You paste a PRD, user stories, or release notes, and the app drafts a structured test plan: scope, risks, environments, test types, entry/exit criteria, and traceability to requirements. When requirements change, PlanDiff highlights what parts of the plan are now invalid and suggests updates, including new test charters and regression focus areas. It also produces stakeholder-friendly outputs (PDF/Confluence page) and a machine-friendly export (CSV/Jira issues) so teams can actually execute. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI accelerates drafting and change impact analysis, while traditional workflows handle approvals, versioning, and audit trails. It’s built for teams that need speed without losing accountability.
