PlanDrift
PlanDrift is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that monitors project timelines and flags “silent slippage” early—when tasks are technically not late yet, but the schedule is mathematically doomed based on throughput and dependency pressure. It connects to Jira/Linear/Asana and reads issue history, cycle times, blocked states, and dependency chains to forecast finish dates and identify the few tasks that will cause the most downstream delay. Instead of another Gantt editor, it produces a weekly “Drift Report” with clear, auditable reasons: which work items changed scope, where WIP is piling up, and which handoffs are stalling. It also suggests lightweight interventions (split a story, reduce WIP, reorder dependencies) and tracks whether the intervention actually reduced risk. The goal is to give PMs and engineering leads a credible early-warning system without forcing teams to change tools or update timelines manually.
