PlantReceipt

PlantReceipt is a mobile + web app that stores and organizes receipts, warranty terms, and care instructions for outdoor plants, soil, fertilizers, tools, and patio items. You scan a receipt (or forward an email), and it auto-extracts the items, store, date, and return window, then reminds you before deadlines. For plants, it also saves the tag photo, variety, and basic care notes so you can prove what you bought if it dies early and a nursery offers a limited guarantee. The app supports multiple properties (home, rental, client sites) and generates a clean “claim packet” with receipt, photos, and dates for returns or warranty claims. This is not glamorous, but it’s practical: it reduces wasted money from missed return windows, lost receipts, and unclear plant guarantees.
