PlatformPulse is a mobile + web app that turns messy transit schedules into a simple reliability view. Instead of just showing the next arrival, it shows how trustworthy that prediction is right now, based on recent performance at that stop and along that route. Riders see a “confidence meter,” typical delay range, and whether it’s safer to walk to a nearby stop or switch lines. Agencies and power users can view a lightweight dashboard that highlights chronic schedule drift by time-of-day and direction, using GTFS + GTFS-Realtime where available. It’s not magic: in cities with poor real-time feeds, the app clearly labels data quality and falls back to historical patterns. The product is built to reduce the daily frustration of “it said 3 minutes… then 12,” and to help riders make faster, more realistic decisions.
