PlaydatePact
PlaydatePact is a mobile app (with a lightweight web companion) that helps parents coordinate playdates without the endless back-and-forth and social friction. Instead of just scheduling, it standardizes the stuff that actually causes problems: allergies, screen-time limits, pickup permissions, bathroom help, pets, and “can they walk home?” rules. Parents create a kid profile and a household profile, then generate a shareable “Playdate Pact” for each meetup—clear expectations, emergency contacts, and a simple checklist. The app supports quick availability polls, location confirmation, and a one-tap “I’m here / leaving now” status. It also includes incident logging (minor injuries, conflicts) so there’s a factual record if needed. This is not a magical community network; it’s a practical coordination tool that reduces awkwardness and liability anxiety.
