PlaylistPilot is a mobile + web AI app that builds and maintains “situational” playlists from your real listening behavior across Spotify/Apple Music/YouTube Music. Instead of generic mood labels, it learns your repeatable contexts (commute length, workout intensity, focus blocks, late-night wind-down) and continuously refreshes playlists with strict rules you set: max skips allowed, energy curve, no repeats for X days, explicit filters, and “don’t ruin this song” protection so favorites aren’t overplayed. It also explains why each track was added (tempo, similarity cluster, your past saves) and gives one-tap controls like “more like this but calmer” or “same vibe, newer releases only.” The product is honest about limits: it can’t beat incumbents on catalog, but it can beat them on control, transparency, and cross-service consistency.
