PlayPact
PlayPact helps parents of ages 2–7 replace vague “no more iPad” fights with simple, visual screen-time agreements kids can understand. Parents set a daily screen budget and choose “unlock” activities (e.g., 10 minutes of reading with a parent, a short outdoor scavenger hunt, tidying toys). Kids see a big, friendly timer and a clear next step: complete one real-world activity to earn the next chunk of screen minutes. The app includes a printable “activity card” pack and a one-tap routine builder for mornings, after daycare, and weekends. It doesn’t pretend to magically fix parenting—compliance will still vary—but it reduces negotiation by making rules predictable and consistent. Optional AI suggests age-appropriate unlock activities based on the child’s interests and the parent’s available time, without requiring the child to type or chat.
