PlayPass

PlayPass is a mobile + web app that helps families find and actually enroll in affordable youth sports without getting blindsided by hidden costs. It aggregates local programs (school, parks & rec, nonprofits, clubs) and shows an “all-in price” estimate: registration, uniforms, tournament fees, travel expectations, and required gear. Families can filter by true total cost, distance, schedule, and inclusion needs. For programs, PlayPass offers a lightweight admin portal to publish transparent pricing, request waivers, and accept sliding-scale payments. The app also supports “sponsor a spot” contributions from local businesses or donors, but it’s designed to be realistic: it won’t pretend donations are endless—it simply makes them easier to route and track. The goal is fewer dropouts due to surprise fees and fewer empty roster spots due to confusing enrollment.
