PlayPatch

PlayPatch is a mobile app for parents and kids (ages 5–11) that turns ordinary playground time into short, location-based play prompts without needing expensive gear. Parents pick a “patch” (park, yard, indoor play space) and the app generates 10–20 minute activity cards: scavenger hunts, movement challenges, cooperative games, and imagination prompts that adapt to the space and number of kids. It includes a simple “group mode” for playdates and birthday parties with rotating roles (leader, timer, scorekeeper) to reduce adult refereeing. Safety is built in: no public chat, no precise location sharing, and offline-friendly downloads. Monetization is realistic: a small subscription for themed packs (rainy-day, sensory-friendly, low-mobility, party mode) plus one-time party bundles. This is a traditional app with light AI assistance for generating and remixing prompts.
