PlayQuest is a mobile app that turns everyday places—home, parks, grocery stores, road trips—into short, guided scavenger quests for kids and parents. It focuses on low-prep, screen-light play: the phone gives prompts, timers, and simple AR-free clues, then goes back in your pocket. Quests are age-banded (3–5, 6–8, 9–12) and include cooperative modes for siblings so it doesn’t devolve into fighting. Parents can set duration, noise level, and location constraints, and download packs for offline use. The app includes a “calm-down quest” category for transitions (leaving the playground, bedtime) using movement + breathing mini-games. Monetization is straightforward: subscription for quest packs plus one-time themed bundles (holidays, museums, rainy day). This is not magical; it wins by being practical, repeatable, and easy to start in 30 seconds.
