PlotPulse is a web + desktop app that analyzes your manuscript’s structure and pacing without pretending to be your co-author. You upload a draft (DOCX/Markdown), mark key beats (or let the app infer them), and get a scene-by-scene “pulse” view: tension curve, POV balance, scene purpose, time jumps, and unresolved setups. It flags likely reader drop-off zones (long low-tension stretches, repetitive beats, too many new names at once) and suggests concrete edits like “merge these two scenes” or “move reveal earlier,” with citations to exact paragraphs. It also includes a lightweight revision tracker focused on structural changes, not line edits. This is an AI-assisted app (analysis + suggestions), but it’s deliberately constrained: it won’t generate prose unless you explicitly ask for a small rewrite of a specific paragraph.
