PlotPulse is a web app that audits story structure from an outline or draft and flags where the narrative likely sags, confuses, or loses stakes. You paste chapters or upload a manuscript, then map key beats (inciting incident, midpoint, crisis, climax) with optional templates (Save the Cat, three-act, Hero’s Journey). The app generates a “tension timeline” and scene-by-scene diagnostics: missing goal/conflict, weak turning points, repetitive scenes, unresolved setups, and character arc drift. It’s not a full writing tool; it’s a structural QA layer that works alongside Scrivener, Google Docs, or Word. An AI mode suggests concrete fixes (e.g., move reveal earlier, add reversal, merge scenes) while keeping you in control with editable beat cards and version comparisons. Expect some false positives—structure is subjective—but it’s fast, consistent, and useful for revision planning.
