PlugEtiq
PlugEtiq is a mobile + web app that predicts whether a specific EV charger will actually work when you arrive, and how long you’ll realistically wait. It combines live station status, recent user check-ins, and historical reliability patterns to generate a simple “Confidence Score” and an ETA-to-plug estimate. Users can quickly log outcomes (worked, derated, blocked, payment failed) in under 10 seconds, and the app rewards consistent reporters with higher-weight credibility. For drivers, it reduces wasted detours and range anxiety by steering them to chargers that are not just “available,” but dependable. For site hosts and small networks, it provides a lightweight reliability dashboard showing recurring failure modes (connector issues, payment terminal errors, chronic ICEing) and the financial impact of downtime. This isn’t a magic fix—data coverage will start thin—but in dense EV corridors it can become genuinely useful fast.
