PlugProof is a mobile + web app that predicts whether a specific EV charger will actually work when you arrive. It combines crowdsourced check-ins (plug type, stall availability, payment success, power actually delivered) with automated signals like station uptime history, recent session success rates, and weather/temperature impacts on charging speed. Drivers get a simple “confidence score” per stall and a recommended backup plan with the minimum-risk route. For fleets, PlugProof offers a lightweight dashboard showing which public sites consistently fail, how much time was lost, and which providers to avoid. This is not another map of chargers; it’s a reliability layer that sits on top of existing networks and navigation habits. The MVP can start in one region, focus on the top 5 networks, and win by being brutally accurate rather than comprehensive.
