PlugProof is a mobile + web app that helps EV drivers avoid dead, blocked, or misleading public chargers by focusing on real-time reliability, not just location. Users check in with one-tap status reports (working, derated, ICEd, broken, payment failing) and upload quick photos. The app aggregates these signals into a “confidence score” per stall and predicts whether a stop is worth it right now. It also flags common failure patterns by network, site, and time-of-day, and suggests nearby Plan B chargers with higher confidence. This is not another map clone: it’s a reliability layer that can sit on top of existing navigation habits via shareable links and simple widgets. Monetization is realistic: a low-cost subscription for frequent drivers and a B2B dashboard for fleets and property owners who want to see charger uptime and user-reported issues without buying expensive monitoring systems.
