PlugProof

PlugProof is a mobile + web app that focuses on one painful truth: charger listings are often wrong, and drivers pay the price in time and stress. Instead of trying to be another map, PlugProof verifies station reliability with lightweight “proof” check-ins: a 10-second flow that captures connector type, stall availability, start-to-charge success, and optional photo evidence. The app turns those check-ins into a live reliability score per station, per connector, and even per time-of-day. Drivers can set alerts for planned stops (e.g., “notify me if reliability drops below 70%”) and get a backup recommendation when a station is trending down. For site hosts and fleets, a small dashboard highlights recurring failure patterns and lets them respond publicly with fixes and ETAs. It’s not glamorous, but it’s practical: fewer dead-end charging stops.
