PlugQueue

PlugQueue predicts real wait times at EV chargers and helps drivers avoid wasted detours. Instead of relying on stale “available/in use” statuses, it combines user-reported arrivals/departures, passive location pings (opt-in), and historical utilization patterns to estimate queue length, stall turnover, and the probability you’ll actually start charging within X minutes. Drivers can set a destination and minimum battery buffer, then get ranked charger options with expected time-to-plug, time-to-charge, and confidence scores. The app also supports quick “tap-in/tap-out” check-ins, photo verification of blocked stalls, and lightweight incentives (credits, badges) to keep data fresh. Realistically, accuracy will be imperfect at first; the product wins by being directionally right more often than the built-in maps and by being transparent about confidence. Mobile app with a small web dashboard for ops and partnerships. Combination traditional + AI.
