PocketVillage

PocketVillage is a mobile + web app that helps single parents quickly assemble a reliable “backup network” for childcare gaps, school pickups, sick days, and last-minute work conflicts. It guides you to add trusted contacts (family, neighbors, other parents, sitters), collect the exact details helpers need (pickup permissions, allergies, routines, pediatrician info), and create pre-written request templates you can send in seconds. The app includes a lightweight scheduling layer for availability and a “panic button” that broadcasts a structured request to your chosen circle with time, location, and constraints. It also stores shareable documents (school authorization forms, IDs) so you’re not scrambling. This is not therapy or generic community—it's operational support for the moments that actually break single-parent schedules.
