PodPulse
PodPulse is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that gives podcast creators real, episode-level retention insights without needing a big network or enterprise hosting deal. It generates a “listener journey” report: where drop-offs spike, which segments get replayed, and how different players/regions behave. The app works by providing a lightweight, privacy-respecting tracking link for episode pages and show notes, plus an embeddable web player that many creators already use on their sites. It then correlates web-player events with public download trends and release schedules to produce actionable recommendations: shorten intros, move CTAs, restructure ad breaks, and test titles. This is not magic: it won’t see inside Spotify/Apple native apps. But for the large share of listeners who discover via the web, newsletters, and embedded players, it gives creators data they currently guess at.
