PolePulse is a web + mobile field app for utilities and contractors to triage grid infrastructure work orders using a practical, auditable risk score. It ingests inspection notes, photos, and basic asset metadata (pole age/class, span length, conductor type, known vegetation issues) and outputs a ranked list of “fix next” assets with clear reasons: safety, outage likelihood, wildfire exposure, and regulatory urgency. It’s not a magic digital twin; it’s a lightweight layer that sits on top of existing GIS/EAM systems and helps teams stop arguing over priorities. The AI component summarizes messy field notes and flags inconsistencies (e.g., photo shows severe rot but note says ‘minor’), while the scoring model stays transparent and configurable. The MVP focuses on one painful workflow: turning inconsistent inspection data into defensible, trackable maintenance plans that supervisors can approve and auditors can understand.
