PolicyDiff

PolicyDiff is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that tracks standards, guidelines, and internal policies as living documents and turns updates into actionable change logs. Teams upload PDFs/Word/HTML or connect a source (vendor portals, intranet, shared drives). The app normalizes documents into a structured format, then produces clause-level diffs between versions, highlighting additions, deletions, and meaning-shifts. It generates a “change impact” checklist mapped to your internal controls, owners, and due dates, plus an audit-ready trail showing who reviewed what and when. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional workflows for approvals and evidence, AI for semantic diffing, summarization, and mapping suggested impacted controls. Reality check: it won’t magically interpret every niche standard perfectly; the value is faster review, fewer missed updates, and cleaner evidence.
