PolicyDiff

PolicyDiff is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that monitors regulatory and policy documents and shows exactly what changed between versions—down to clause-level redlines with plain-language summaries. Users subscribe to specific agencies, jurisdictions, topics, or document IDs and get alerts when updates occur. The app ingests PDFs, HTML pages, and scanned documents, normalizes them into structured text, then produces a side-by-side comparison, a change log, and an impact checklist tailored to the user’s industry. It also maintains an audit trail so teams can prove when they were notified and what they reviewed—useful for compliance and internal governance. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional pipelines for reliable ingestion/versioning, plus AI to summarize changes and map them to internal policies. It’s not glamorous, but it saves hours of manual reading and reduces “we missed the update” risk.
