PolicyDiff

PolicyDiff is a web app (with a lightweight browser extension) that continuously monitors your public-facing privacy artifacts—privacy policy, cookie banner behavior, consent flows, and key marketing pages—and flags “policy drift” when reality no longer matches what you claim. It snapshots pages, detects changes in trackers and cookies, compares consent states, and generates a plain-English discrepancy report mapped to common requirements (GDPR transparency, CPRA notice, ePrivacy consent). It’s not a full compliance suite; it’s a focused early-warning system for teams that ship fast and break privacy. The MVP targets one domain, a few critical user journeys, and weekly monitoring. Expect some false positives and the need for tuning, but it will reliably catch the embarrassing, expensive stuff: new trackers added by marketing, broken opt-out links, and consent banners that don’t actually block tags.
