PolicyDiff

PolicyDiff is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that tracks tech-policy documents and shows exactly what changed between versions—like GitHub diffs, but for legislation, agency rules, and platform policies. Users follow specific bills, regulators, or topics (privacy, AI, competition, content moderation) and receive alerts when new text appears, definitions shift, or obligations expand. The app highlights additions/deletions, flags “scope creep” language, and produces a one-page change brief for internal sharing. It also maintains a timeline of versions with citations to official sources, so teams can quickly validate what’s real versus commentary. This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps summarize changes and classify impact, while deterministic diffing and source verification keep it trustworthy. Realistically, it won’t replace lawyers; it’s a speed layer for policy monitoring and internal coordination.
