PolicyOps is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that automates compliance operations for mid-market financial firms drowning in spreadsheets and shared drives. It converts regulatory obligations into a living control library, assigns owners, schedules recurring attestations, and continuously collects evidence from the systems teams already use (ticketing, cloud logs, IAM, HRIS). An AI layer helps map new regulatory text to existing controls, flags gaps, and drafts policy updates—but every change requires human approval and is fully versioned. The product focuses on “audit-ready by default”: one-click evidence packages, immutable activity logs, and clear accountability dashboards for executives. Realistically, this won’t replace enterprise GRC suites at large banks; it wins by being faster to implement, simpler to operate, and priced for firms that still face serious audits but lack dedicated compliance engineering teams.
