PolicyPatch
PolicyPatch is a browser extension + admin web console that enforces lightweight, configurable compliance rules on other extensions used inside a company. It detects risky permissions, unapproved updates, suspicious network calls, and shadow-installed add-ons, then blocks or quarantines them based on policy. Unlike heavy endpoint suites, it focuses only on the browser layer where most data leakage happens (SaaS sessions, cookies, clipboard, downloads). Admins get an inventory of installed extensions by team, alerts when an extension changes ownership or suddenly requests new permissions, and one-click allowlists/denylists. It also generates audit-ready reports for SOC 2/ISO 27001 evidence. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used to summarize permission changes and flag anomalous behavior patterns, but the core enforcement is deterministic policy and signatures.
