PolicyPatcher

PolicyPatcher is a web app (with optional desktop Word add-in) that automates the painful, recurring work of updating internal policies, SOPs, and customer-facing terms when regulations, vendors, or business processes change. You upload your existing documents, map them to a simple “policy inventory” (owner, last reviewed, dependencies), and then generate controlled update drafts when a change event occurs (e.g., new SOC2 control, updated subprocessors, new retention period). The app highlights impacted sections, proposes replacement language, and produces a redline-ready output for Word/PDF. It also creates an audit trail: who approved what, when, and why, plus a review calendar and reminders. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps draft and diff, but approvals and templates stay deterministic to avoid hallucinated commitments.
