PolicyPetri
PolicyPetri is a web app for running fast, transparent “policy sandboxes” using agent-based and system-dynamics models. Teams can sketch a complex system (housing, traffic, supply chains, hospital flow, energy demand), define actors, constraints, and feedback loops, then run scenario batches to see where unintended consequences appear. It focuses on practical decision support: sensitivity analysis, tipping-risk indicators, and plain-language summaries that explain which assumptions drive outcomes. It also includes a lightweight evidence log so users can attach sources to parameters and track what’s guessed versus measured. This is not a magic predictor; it’s a structured way to compare options, expose fragile assumptions, and communicate tradeoffs to stakeholders. Exportable reports and model “cards” make it easier to reuse models across projects and avoid one-off spreadsheet chaos.
