PolicyPulpit is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps congregations manage the unglamorous but critical operational layer: safety policies, incident reporting, background checks, training attestations, facility access rules, and audit-ready documentation. Most churches run these processes in email threads, binders, and spreadsheets until something goes wrong. The app provides role-based workflows for staff and volunteers: assign required trainings by role (children’s ministry, ushers, security), collect digital acknowledgements, track background-check status, and log incidents with attachments and follow-ups. It generates simple compliance dashboards for leadership and produces an “audit packet” in minutes for insurers, denominational reviews, or legal counsel. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps draft policy templates, summarize incident reports, and flag missing steps, but the core value is structured workflows and records that hold up under scrutiny.
