PolicyPulse is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams add-ons) for routing and approving internal policy exceptions and operational requests that are usually handled in messy email threads: security waivers, vendor exceptions, spend policy overrides, travel exceptions, and access approvals. Requesters fill a structured form, attach evidence, and the app auto-routes to the right approvers based on department, risk tier, and spend thresholds. Every decision is logged with timestamps, rationale, and required artifacts, producing an audit-ready trail without extra work. It includes lightweight templates for common workflows, reminders and escalation, and a “what’s blocking” dashboard so ops teams can clear bottlenecks. This is not a generic BPM suite; it’s intentionally narrow, fast to deploy, and designed to reduce back-and-forth while keeping compliance teams comfortable.
