PolicyPulse is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that monitors science-policy signals and turns them into actionable briefings for research leaders. It continuously ingests government consultations, parliamentary bills, agency strategy updates, budget documents, and major funder announcements, then summarizes what changed, who it affects, and what actions to take (comment, lobby, adjust grant pipeline, compliance prep). The AI layer clusters topics (e.g., AI safety, biotech, climate, space), flags emerging risks/opportunities, and generates one-page internal memos tailored to a lab, university office, or nonprofit. Users can set alerts by country, agency, topic, and funding program, and maintain a “policy calendar” of deadlines and hearings. Brutal truth: the value is highest for organizations already doing policy watching; for everyone else it’s noise. The product wins only if it’s trusted, timely, and clearly better than newsletters and interns.
