PolicyPulse is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams add-ons) that tracks employment-law changes by jurisdiction and turns them into actionable checklists for HR and small employers. Instead of dumping legal news, it maps each update to concrete policy edits: handbook language suggestions, required notices, payroll/timekeeping impacts, and effective dates. Users select locations (states/cities) and workforce attributes (hourly, tipped, minors, contractors) to receive a prioritized “what to do this month” queue. The product includes an audit trail showing when you acknowledged an update and what you changed—useful when regulators or plaintiff attorneys come knocking. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI summarizes new rules and drafts plain-language policy snippets, but the system forces human review and highlights uncertainty. Realistically, success depends on nailing accuracy and limiting liability with careful disclaimers and sourcing.
