PolicyPulse is a mobile + web AI-assisted insurance “readiness” app for homeowners and drivers. Users upload their home/auto policies (PDFs), renewal docs, and a quick home inventory; the app extracts key limits, deductibles, exclusions, and deadlines, then flags dangerous gaps (e.g., no water backup, underinsured dwelling, rental car limits). It also creates a plain-English “Claim Playbook” tailored to the user’s policy: what to document, who to call, what not to say, and what receipts/photos matter. The app runs periodic checkups (renewal season, major purchases, address changes) and provides a one-page shareable summary for spouses/partners. It does not sell insurance; it helps users avoid nasty surprises and reduces claim friction. Realistically, the hard part is earning trust and handling messy policy documents reliably, but the value is clear when people compare what they think they have vs. what they actually bought.
