PolicyRipple

PolicyRipple is a web app (with optional desktop export tools) for building and running system-dynamics simulations focused on public policy and organizational interventions. Users sketch causal loop diagrams, convert them into stock-and-flow models, and run scenario sweeps to see second- and third-order effects (delays, feedback loops, capacity constraints). The app includes a guided “assumption ledger” so every parameter is traceable to a source, estimate, or expert judgment, and a sensitivity dashboard that highlights which assumptions actually drive outcomes. It’s not a magic predictor: it’s a structured way to avoid naive linear thinking and to communicate uncertainty clearly. The MVP targets small policy teams and consultancies that currently rely on spreadsheets, static slide decks, or expensive specialist tools. Exportable reports make it usable in stakeholder meetings without requiring everyone to learn modeling.
