PolicyTrace is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that turns central-bank communications into a structured, searchable signal feed. It ingests speeches, minutes, press conferences, statements, and Q&A transcripts from major central banks, then tags them by topic (inflation, labor, balance sheet, FX, financial stability) and maps changes in tone over time. The product focuses on workflow: alerts when language shifts versus prior meetings, side-by-side redlines, and a “what changed” summary with citations back to the exact sentence. It also links each communication to immediate market moves (rates, FX, equities) so users can quickly validate whether a phrase mattered. This is an AI + traditional app: AI for extraction/summarization and traditional engineering for data pipelines, auditability, and alerting. Realistically, the value is speed and traceability, not magical prediction.
