PolicyWeave

PolicyWeave is a web app (with optional CLI) that converts enterprise architecture standards into enforceable, testable policies across cloud and CI/CD. Architects define rules like approved integration patterns, data residency constraints, encryption requirements, and technology lifecycle (allowed/denied versions). The app generates policy-as-code for common enforcement points (Terraform plan checks, Kubernetes admission, API gateway config linting) and produces auditable evidence for reviews. It also tracks exceptions with expiry dates, owners, and compensating controls, so “temporary” waivers don’t become permanent risk. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps translate messy documents and meeting notes into draft policies and maps them to assets, but humans approve every rule. Realistically, it won’t replace EA tools; it complements them by making standards executable and measurable.
