PolliRoute

PolliRoute is a web + mobile app for land managers to design and justify pollinator-friendly planting corridors along roadsides, campuses, solar farms, and utility rights-of-way. Users draw a corridor on a map, pick region and constraints (mowing schedule, soil, sun, budget, invasive species restrictions), and get a practical planting plan: species list, bloom calendar, seeding rates, maintenance tasks, and a procurement checklist. The app also generates a one-page “stakeholder brief” with expected bloom coverage, habitat continuity score, and compliance-friendly language for permits and internal approvals. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional GIS planning plus AI-assisted plan drafting and document generation. The goal is not citizen-science; it’s shippable plans that survive procurement, maintenance, and risk reviews.
