PollProof

PollProof is a mobile + web app that helps people verify their voter registration status, catch common errors, and complete the right steps before deadlines. Users select their state, answer a short checklist, and get a personalized “registration readiness” report: status check links, ID requirements, address/name change steps, and deadline reminders. The app stores nothing sensitive by default; it focuses on guiding users to official state portals and generating a printable checklist they can bring to election offices. For states with confusing rules, PollProof provides plain-language explanations and a “what changed?” feed for policy updates. It also supports household workflows (roommates/family) with separate checklists and reminders. The realistic goal is not to replace state systems, but to reduce drop-off and confusion that cause failed or incomplete registrations.
