PollWatchQR

PollWatchQR is a mobile + web app for election administrators and accredited observers to create tamper-evident polling-place incident logs and chain-of-custody records without expensive hardware. Each event (ballot box seal check, ballot transfer, equipment issue, observer complaint) is recorded on a phone, time-stamped, geofenced, and signed by two roles (e.g., poll worker + observer). The app generates a QR-coded receipt that can be posted publicly at the polling site; anyone can scan to view a read-only version, increasing transparency without exposing voter data. A web dashboard aggregates all sites, flags late openings, repeated seal changes, missing signatures, and unusual incident rates compared to similar precincts. This is realistic: it won’t “prove fraud,” but it can reduce sloppy processes, deter low-level tampering, and create auditable documentation that’s easier to review than paper binders.
