PortalFixer is a web + mobile AI-assisted patient portal overlay that sits on top of existing EHR portals (MyChart, Athena, etc.) and turns scattered messages, labs, bills, referrals, and tasks into a single prioritized “What to do next” list. Patients connect their portal accounts, and the app continuously pulls updates, normalizes terminology, flags time-sensitive items (e.g., abnormal labs, expiring referrals, unpaid bills that block scheduling), and drafts plain-language summaries with links to the original source. It also provides a secure “question builder” that helps patients ask the right follow-ups and attach relevant context from recent results. This is not another portal replacement (providers won’t switch); it’s a patient-side organizer that reduces missed care, confusion, and endless phone calls. Realistically, success depends on reliable integrations and trust: without broad portal connectivity and strong privacy posture, it’s dead on arrival.
