PortalPilot

PortalPilot is a web + desktop RPA tool focused on one ugly reality: many back-office tasks still happen inside slow, inconsistent third‑party web portals (government sites, insurer portals, vendor dashboards). Traditional RPA breaks whenever a button moves or a page loads differently. PortalPilot uses a hybrid approach: a lightweight desktop agent to control the browser plus an AI layer that understands page intent (e.g., “submit claim,” “download statement,” “check status”) and re-finds elements when layouts change. It includes guarded automation: human-in-the-loop checkpoints, screenshot diffs, and automatic rollback when confidence is low. The MVP targets a narrow set of portal workflows (download/upload, form fill, status checks) with audit logs and simple scheduling. It won’t replace enterprise RPA suites for huge orgs, but it can be a practical, cheaper option for SMB ops teams drowning in portal work.
