PortfoGuard

PortfoGuard is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that continuously audits your project portfolio for “zombie” work: initiatives that consume spend but no longer align to strategy, lack measurable outcomes, or are blocked indefinitely. It connects to Jira/Azure DevOps, finance spreadsheets/ERP exports, and OKR tools to build a simple health model: burn vs. benefit, dependency risk, decision latency, and strategic fit. The AI layer summarizes weekly portfolio status, flags anomalies (scope creep, stalled epics, runaway cost), and drafts decision memos for kill/pivot/continue reviews. The product is intentionally narrow: it doesn’t try to replace full PPM suites; it sits on top of them to force hard portfolio decisions with evidence. Expect pushback internally—this tool makes politics visible—but for leaders who need to cut waste, it’s a practical lever.
