PortPulse
PortPulse is a lightweight network exposure monitor for small IT teams that don’t have time (or budget) for full-blown SIEM/NDR. You deploy a tiny agent on one internal host per site (or run it in a container) and it continuously maps which devices are listening on which ports, then flags changes: new services, unexpected open ports, and “shadow IT” devices. It keeps a simple baseline per subnet, correlates findings with known CVEs for common services, and generates plain-English remediation steps (close port, restrict ACL, move to VLAN, update firmware). It also produces an audit-friendly report for cyber insurance questionnaires and compliance checklists. This is a web app + small on-prem scanner component, delivered as a traditional app with AI-assisted explanations and prioritization (not autonomous control).
