PortSleuth
PortSleuth is a lightweight network exposure scanner built for small IT teams that don’t have time to run a full vulnerability management program. It continuously discovers devices on your LAN/VPN, fingerprints open ports and common services, and flags “shouldn’t exist” exposures like RDP/SSH on user subnets, admin panels on printers, or new NAS boxes. Instead of dumping raw scan results, it focuses on change detection: what appeared, what changed, and what is internet-reachable via NAT/UPnP. It generates simple, actionable tickets with owner, location, and a recommended fix (close port, move VLAN, disable service, update firmware). It integrates with Slack/Teams and can export to Jira. This is a web app with an optional small desktop/agent component for on-prem scanning, and it’s a combination app: traditional scanning plus AI-assisted summarization and remediation guidance.
