PostProof is a web app (with a lightweight Slack/Chrome extension) that runs a pre-publish compliance and brand-safety check on social posts for teams. You paste a draft or connect your scheduling tool, and it flags likely issues: unsubstantiated claims, missing disclosures (#ad, affiliate), regulated-category triggers (health, finance), copyright-risky phrases, and tone mismatches against your brand guidelines. It doesn’t pretend to be a lawyer; it gives a clear risk score, explains what triggered it, and offers safer rewrites plus a checklist for required approvals. A simple audit log records who approved what and when, so teams can prove process if a post gets challenged. The product is intentionally narrow: reduce “oops” posts and last-minute review chaos for small marketing teams that can’t afford legal review on every caption.
