PowerProof

PowerProof is a mobile + web app that helps households and frontline caseworkers quickly document energy poverty and assemble “proof packs” for assistance programs, charities, and utility hardship funds. Users answer a short guided intake (income band, household size, heating type, arrears, medical needs), then upload photos of bills, shutoff notices, meter readings, and ID. The app auto-extracts key fields, flags missing documents, and generates a standardized PDF packet plus a shareable link for agencies. It also tracks deadlines, appointment dates, and required follow-ups, and provides local program matching based on ZIP/postcode and eligibility rules. This is brutally practical: it doesn’t promise lower bills by magic; it reduces the paperwork friction that causes people to miss aid windows. Caseworkers can manage multiple clients, request missing items, and export reports for funders.
