PPAClarity

PPAClarity is a web app (with optional desktop add-in) that helps energy buyers and sellers quickly understand, compare, and de-risk power purchase agreements. Users upload draft PPAs, term sheets, and redlines; the app extracts key commercial terms (price structure, escalation, volume shaping, curtailment, REC treatment, credit support, change-in-law, force majeure) into a standardized summary and a side-by-side comparison view. It flags missing schedules, inconsistent definitions, and clause patterns that commonly trigger disputes. The tool also produces a negotiation checklist tailored to deal type (utility-scale solar/wind, corporate sleeved PPA, VPPA) and jurisdiction. This is a combination traditional + AI app: deterministic parsing for structure and an AI layer for clause classification and risk explanations. It is not a contract replacement—it's a practical triage and decision-support tool that saves hours per deal and reduces expensive surprises.
