PPEProof is an AI computer-vision compliance app that detects whether workers are wearing required PPE (hard hats, safety vests, gloves, goggles) in real time from existing CCTV or mobile walkthrough videos. It flags violations with timestamped clips, location tags, and simple audit reports for supervisors and safety managers. The product is intentionally narrow: it focuses on a small set of high-frequency PPE checks rather than trying to “solve construction safety” broadly. It supports privacy controls (face blurring, on-device processing options) and configurable rules per site (e.g., vest required in Zone A only). The MVP would integrate with a few common camera sources and provide a dashboard for alerts, trends, and exportable compliance evidence. This is not magic—accuracy will vary by camera angle, lighting, and occlusion—so the app includes a quick calibration flow and a “review queue” for human confirmation.
